i think im gonna burn myself out posting so often!!! haha
well i only posting because it is (hopefully, touching wooden table etc) going to be a rather big event for me tomorrow night. I've finally made the decision to get a new frame for my bmx! I know!!!? the frame i have isnt broken or anything. But its heavy. Way heavier than all the other guys bikes and on sunday I was out riding and ended up pulling my back just jumping straight. That was it! I made the decision that night that i've got to help my back out, and making my bike lighter (im hoping again) will do that.
I've had this frame for just over 3 years anyway, not much has majorly changed on my bike since i first got it as a complete. I've changed the bars because i bent them and the crank set because i bent the chain wheel. But other than grips, seat and tyres thats it. So a new frame, even though its a second hand one from jordan is really exciting!! My bike is going to be different! WOO!
I had to buy a Mid-kit for it though to convert my bottom bracket from US size (big!! naturally haha) to the smaller mid bracket size that is on the Mutiny Sinister Im getting. And a slim line seat clamp because jordan had cut it right down. Im also going to see if i can hack my seat tube down some more. It sounds petty but apparently it all helps out.
Next will be changing the huge chain ring i have with bash guard to a smaller lighter one as mine is quite a sizeable chunk of metal. But thats for another month. :D
Anyway im excited so i thought i would post.

I havent posted on here for bloomin ages it seems!!! I keep popping on here and read what everyone is writing but i never feel the urge to write down stuff really. Only seems to be for the Ozzels, which im currently painting a new colourway of 10 haha.
Well this weekend and week so far has been great! Friday night was chilled out with rozzy trying to catch up with some sleep and get some much needed energy back. I've seriously been running myself into the ground it seems and when it comes to wednesday im absolutely shattered. This week it hit me quite hard at kungfu training. Right near the end of warm-up excercises I started feeling really week and all round my periferal vision started going kinda grey. So i asked gary if i could get a drink of water. So i start slugging that down and gary said that i should go and get some air. I go outside and thought I was going to throw up!! Man i felt so rough! I eventually wandered back in halfway through the last excercise, i'd only missed the one. And gary asked me if i was alright because I still looked really pale.
The rest of the lesson was actually brilliant though!! I taught the 3 juniors with the basics because there was a brand new lad starting. Then I went and did strangle breaks and sweeps with the seniors. And i was super happy because my sweeps were feeling really good and flowing a lot more. I've been struggling to get them to flow because we learn them in such a broken down way. But this time when i would sweep the other person they were going down just like i was shown. It was great!!
I didnt go to thursdays training because I was wacked basically. I'd took thursday off work to spend the afternoon with roz and the morning at my moms building a wardrobe for her. After spending most of the afternoon at my moms watching telly with my mom and brother we went back to rozzy's and just went to bed. I fell asleep around 4pm woke up for 6pm and felt like crap, no energy again. So i skipped out on training and just slept. Slept till the next day haha. And i made a mental change. I think im so low on energy too because all i do is eat crap all the time which cant help. I mean, im not changing my diet radically but trying to eat breakfast and not snack crap so much in between.
So far im on day 2 of eating breakfast haha and it sounds so stupid but it seems to be working. Last night after work I wasnt tired!!! First in ages, i wasnt yawning through work and really struggling.
Oh, on sunday I went out riding with tom and scott for a while and kinda learnt 180 x-ups out of a peice of wood we put up the steps at the library. That was brilliant as i havent been on my bike due to weather and ozzels for about 2 weeks. Bloody pulled my back again though just doing a straight jump up the drop at the metal bench. So stupid! I dont know why its so bad all the time.
Anyway, last night was brilliant fun! Basically Rozzy has been doing dance classes since July with her mum, dad, brother and their mate muz. Well muz was going off travelling and meeting up with their other brother in thailand at the start of this month and Roz wouldnt have a dancing partner anymore. So i said im up for a laugh and give it a go. Even though I continuously said I have 2 left feet they still roped me into it. I just kept telling myself that it'll be good for kungfu because it will help with my timing and my foot control (which i struggle with because i dont feel confident when i learn the new stances etc). Anyway, its turned out to be brilliant fun!!
I had my first taste of it when i stood in for Roz's ill mum and dad at the xmas party for the club and we all started learning the Lindy hop basics (Which is brilliant!! I will put a vid of a real good lindy hop dude at the bottom of this gargantuem post!!) and then i've been to 4 now. Its pretty cool too because i've only had 2 goes with roz in their barn with a dancefloor and the 4 lessons and im already up to the intermediate level they are all on. :D haha. I should really be in the beginner class but i just jumped right up. mwuhahaha. Anyway, we did the quickstep last night and it was brilliant!!! Im loads more confident now and dont jump out of the way when someone comes hurtling at us. We were weaving in and out of everyone like speed machines! I was even leading and saying to Roz "do some big steps now" and we would over take the slow pokes. I was basically holding myself back from doing the "Meeuurrrr meeeurrrr!!" overtake car sounds! :P
And it actually has helped with kungfu and visa versa. The teachers have commented loads on how light on my feet i am, which is from kungfu (they dont know this though). And my sweeps and forms have progressed because Im more confident with my feet. so win win really ! haha.
Anyway, what a prattle. Im looking forward to getting out on my bmx again tonight cus the weather is so good! woop!!
And here is that vid. We cant do this...yet!! haha but i'd love to learn how to do it properly. Me and roz can do some of the basics though. :o)
Also, if you have a 360, get SKATE!!!! its fooking awesome!! oh and i got Call of Duty 3 of big tom last night which i've got to have a blast on.
oh and keg now has a ps3 which im really rather impressed with! and anna finally bought a Wii (with me as i went round town with her giving her nudges haha) and thats been brilliant fun! Roz hates consoles but she's been playing the wii at the weekends with us and loving it. It really is a console to get people into games. I still suck at bowling on the wii though!

Well after a rather interesting 2 weeks of talking to paypal then waiting then talking to them somemore then waiting Im able to sell more Ozzel stuff on my website. :)
Me and Rozzy had done our first 2 colour experiment with my gocco printer a few weekends ago. Making Headercards non the less! And over the last 2 weeks I've been casting, sanding and bagging up 10 DIY Blank Ozzels to put up for sale last night. WOOP! I tell you something, photographing white things on white backgrounds is tough!! haha, im gonna use some coloured backdrop next time.
3 have gone already. 1 was bought by the guy that runs www.customvibe.com and 2 are going off to a really talented dude going by the name of Dinosauria (www.dinosauria.co.uk). He is keeping one for himself and painting up the second and sending it back to me. So i'll have one of his awesome pieces of art on my shelf! woopwoop!
Anyhoo, gonna be starting to paint some more Ozzels up tomorrow night, got the first 4 primed up in the Weigh-yard last night. Cant wait to get my airbrush and compressor out again!!! I love the little bugger!!! :D

On sunday night i made the first load of Ozzels go on sale on my website! I never would have thought i'd get round to ever making a website let alone putting something i've made on sale from it too! but i have, woop!! 2008 is gonna be gooooood!! *touching wood not to jinx it!*
I took tonnes of photos and put them on my site in the extra photos gallery under the 3 main Punisher Ozzel photos in the Ozzelorium.
Also I got back from the postoffice at lunchtime with Rozzy where we posted my second one of these (Daan who interviewed me from the netherlands bought the first one, No.2 as im keeping No.1 for myself). And No.3 is going on a rather longer trip. All the way over to Kansas City in america! Kapow!!
I best get back, but i thought i would put up an update on here that i've actually been doing things and not just being a lazy bean! haha

Well yesterday started a really nice theme for the day which luckily broke, very nearly when i got back to rozzy's after my 'business meeting'.
I get into my car, turn the ignition and urrghh urrghh uh, urrg uh, uh....nothing. BRILLIANT! My battery gave up the ghost. So i have to text work to say im gonna be late and walk round to a car shop, with my sciatica giving me jip. 70 quid lighter and a nice heavy battery walk back. I struggle to change the battery out and its in the lovely location where i can only lift from my back. The old battery shifted in my hand and fell on my belly which i didnt think was too bad till i was driving to work and realized its bleached out some delightful areas on my new green hoody. luckily i had that on and didnt bleach my new sweatshirt from sunday.
I get to work and its just a normal day, actually something good happened when i was chatting to the i.t. manager and he suggested setting up Google Analytics on my site. So i have, oh and i got the homepage running off blogger so me and jon can add to it. (porlzilla.com pump pump) :P
And a guy from work was on my site all morning and said he might commission me to do a C3PO ozzel for him.
Anyway i get to Rozzy's from work and we're chatting away in the kitchen when i notice a centimeter long slice looking cut on my jeans near my pocket. double brilliant!! bleached top and now my new ace pair of jeans have a slice in them. Thank fully she can fix it though.
So i shoot off too the flat to get ready to meet jon in the stanhope arms pub to chat about all things ozzel related. ideas for the new colourway he is doing, website chat and stuff like that. We were there for 3 1/2 hours chatting away probably far too loudly and excitedly about toys, drawing in our doodle books, looking at the ozzels and rocket sloths we'd bought with us, looking on my laptop etc. Got some brilliant plans in the work which has got me super excited!!! A real molding and casting challenge and i cant wait to beat it! :D

It was cool getting stuff hashed out though. And im happy that jon is painting the 10 monochromes cus it gives me time to get on with painting the commissions i have, casting out blanks to sell, finish my punishers and get to work on my peice for the ( http://aim2win.bizland.com/okideas/okkle/limitededition/index.php ) Limited Edition show
2008 is gonna be great for our toys !! I cant wait! :D

yep thats right! i've finally FINALLY done a website and put it up on my webspace. Its about the Ozzel's i make and hopefully will be a place to buy them from and stuff.
I've also finished my first commissioned Ozzel for my friend Nat as a present for her boyfriend. Im really really pleased with it!! I repainted the main body colour 3 times to get it right. I'll prolly post up a photo of it with its box when its all ready to go.

Hellooooooo
I havent really been motivated too much to post on here anymore but im a little bored so, what the hey.
This weekend has been pretty good! Trying to get some things done and learning new things too. It's tough but i've been trying to pull my finger out and get the last 5 of my Punisher Ozzel's finished. I fell out of the groove and its been a little tough to get back into it. I made a new mold out of Silicone Rubber the other weekend which is lovely and smooth and a lot better than my other molds. And i've been too tempted to experiment with other casting material... i'd bought somemore resin plastic and some crystal clear resin plastic and couldnt resist. This is one of the reasons i've fell out of the groove with the Pun's. The experiments ended up good though :)

Anyway, i cast the last 5 Pun's in resin plaster and started to Airbrush them but the tornado strength wind yesterday put a kiibosh on that.
Got the first 5 already pre-ordered though which is good. well 4 as im having number one hahaha.
Another thing, my exhaust has been making popping sounds when you rag it and change gear and its been vibrating and really rough. So on saturday i put my car on Rozzy's dads hydrolic ramps and did abit of snooping. Turns out that my exhaust was about ready to fall off..and when i showed Roz that it pops when you rev it she told me it was actually shooting flames out the back!!! hahaha i had a real bat mobile!! I saw one of them and it was like a foot long!!
Rozzy's dad welded it up for me and showed me the basics of welding and i actually had a go with a arc mig welder thing. I wasnt very good on my peice of scrap metal but it was great to actually have a go. :D
I still remembered how to do the waltz steps and Roz showed me the social foxtrot basics. :) it sounds so weird but it reminds me so much of learning Forms in kungfu its crazy. Having to put your feet in a certain place at a certain time. And it will help me with my timing and lightness of my feet. Its good fun too! :P
And yesterday i bought Assassin's Creed for my xbox 360. Man its flippin good! I cant wait to play some more of it in a bit if i get time! :D
Have you seen it glynn? its pretty bloomin cool. :)
Other than that i think thats it. Hope everyone is good.

The other week i was interviewed by a Toy website about the Ozzels I make and on tuesday it was put up on the site. Im really pleased with it and its a good feeling when people you've never met are taking in interesting in something your trying to make from your kitchen. :o)

I've recently been learning new things which i never thought i would even really try. Its been great! I wonder if not worrying too much about failing is helping with wanting to try new things, especially if it will help people out.
Take this week for example!
Wednesday night i went to kungfu and had a great time running through my 10 and 15 strikes helping karen out with them. Then i went round to see Roz where she showed me the ending of the second dance she's choreographed for the James Bond show her and her brother are putting on at the end of september. Its really cool, a Paso Doble style dance for the Dance of Death. At the end the girl leans on the kneeling males hands then spins into them and lays drooped over the guys knee like she is dead. Its really cool and it was great she trusted me to run through that bit with her to show me. Because it would be so easy to drop someone like that. eep!
I've been helping recently with pinning and cutting patterns for the dresses she has to make for the show's. Again, something i've not done before and its been really interesting. And i've been so impressed with how someone can make a dress look store bought from nothing but some tracing paper style patterns and a roll of material. For some daft reason i never really put 2 and 2 together. Its really great seeing the process.
I helped fix a problem with the projectors that will be used in the show to project james bond intro style flamey/water things on the walls. (i think) Being a geek helps sometimes i guess when you can think out loud about what the problem could be and it actually is right. Sometimes its not too bad haha
And then Rob wanted me to help him figure out why his effects unit wasnt working in stereo. I warned him that i know absolutely nothing about sound engineering stuff. we were jabbing buttons and twiddling switches to no avail for ages. Then he was called into the big barn to see the dances the others where coming up with so i stayed and tried to figure out the machine. After not getting anything figured out i just thought to start pulling leads and try to teach myself how it all worked round the back. Turns out one of the cables is dud. Another problem figured out haha. Quite proud of myself for that i was. :o)
Also i've been the stand in Male dancer for the show. As they have been one down, until tonight where Josh will be starting so i wont be needed for that again i dont think.
Basically for the Goldfinger dance they would get to the bit when the guys come in and Roz would be dancing with Muz and doing the lifts and leans but Becky couldnt do those. So after abit of psyching myself up i offered to help (and possibly make a fool of myself as i've not done this at all before). It was great fun though! I ended up dancing with Roz as Muz knew what he was doing more than me so he helped becky out. I was still rubbish really but they could get through the routine and i was chuffed. And i had fun will doing it! :o)
And yesterday when Rob was looking at the dances (as he is the director/producer etc etc) I had to run over and do the dance again with them. This time helping Becky.
Then in the evening i started with the Set design i will be painting. Again i've not done a set layout before so its good fun and i think it will look great.
And i'll be working during the show being the curtain puller and working the effects projected on the walls from the laptop.
Oh!! and we all had a quick dance in one of the light boxes. was funny seeing the pelvic thrusts and monkey moves! haha :oP
So i've been pretty busy recently basically learning new things. I feel like im accomplishing things loads recently and thats a great feeling!
Also me and Glynn went around Repton (a local executive village with a big boarding school in it that looks like hogwarts) on friday taking texture photos having a laugh at doing posh voices, sticking out like sore thumbs and being freaked out by how weird the vibe was there! it was like stepford wives at one point!!
Then we headed back over to Willington power station where we went to the cooling towers again. I walked right into the middle of Number 4 along the main steam pipe ( i think it is ) and looked up. Vertigo kicking in like crazy but an awesome sight!! i never thought it would look quite like a generator inside. Was brilliant fun!!
Right i better post this ramble before my breaktime finishes!
Going to be bmxing tonight for a while, fixing a manequin base and painting an Ozzel. :D Another productive night i hope....oh and trying to fit in some Bio-shock! woot!!!

| Another Gocco Print test |

I've tried out another print test with my new Gocco. Turned out quite well i think too :)
I bought 2 t-shirts and a hoody to practice on at the weekend. Printed the 2 tshirts on saturday night and the hoody tonight.
The tshirts i did with the white ink i have. the ink didnt print as nice as i would have liked really. abit weak, but it is a lighter colour onto a darker. I guess it will come with practice though. People who saw me wearing one of them (the blue one, not pictured) said good things about it though. So it cant be too bad really.
Tonight i tried using the black ink i got with my Gocco. This obviously printed alot nicer and covered really really well. And the little experiment i did with the little ink i had left on the screen turned out okay too i think.
I think i may have done the screen in now though. A bit of a daft design to put card around the screen really when they only way to clean them properly is with water. its kinda gone all bendy. hopefully it will dry out straightish again. eep!
anyhoo, here are two photos. Even though the green tshirt looks like the white ink is really covered well it hasnt. thats just the flash being friendly ;)
overall im pretty pleased with it. it'll be interesting to see how other colours (when i get some eventually)will print onto coloured tshirts and the like. we'll see.

had quite a productive few days!!!
On wednesday night i started filling in holes in the kitchen because it got on my nerves too much that it hadnt been worked on since i did the tiling. Did filling in dribs and drabs through to saturday afternoon when the walls were done and me and Roz started wallpapering.
Man im glad Roz was there because i didnt have clue one at how to do wallpapering!!! i've found out im not very good at it, well especially corners!! haha
On sunday me, roz and anna painted the walls and ceiling all up and it looks the business! and we tore the crappy carpet out too! so its not too far from completion now. OH! and i put up my first light ever! im scared of electricity but with the help of Roz and her dad we did it and it looks top banana!
Also last night i did the first test prints on my new Gocco. I made up a quick business card idea for the test. Something one colour to make it simple.
I made the screen on monday night and was a little worried about it because it looked abit wishy washy. But it printed great!!! As you can see in the photos.
Me and Roz nipped to Hobbycraft last night so i could get supplies to make them. Was an ace night!

I've just ordered one of these of the interwebs! :D
Its a personal hobby style screen/pad style printer. I saw that peskimo had done some limited prints with one of these and also Maz has printed onto some of her plushies with her Gocco so i looked em up.
Hopefully it will be here within 5 days from japan *fingers crossed*. This will add loads of options for me to be creative with! i can properly print my own little boxes for my Ozzel bears. Print little business card stlye things for them. Print stickers. Print header cards. Also the one i've ordered has the packs to print on material so i can hopefully make t-shirts with it as well!

This has kicked off again because on sunday me and Roz started experimenting with making a plushie version of the Ozzel bear. The first test was okay but the material was wrong. Roz went to dunhelm mills earlier and bought some fleece and stuffing and has made 2 proper plushies this morning!! I've seen some photos from her phone and they look tops!!! We are gonna try and make some more tonight.
I went to Games Workshop yesterday and bought some more paint to do 2 new colours of the monochrome version of the Ozzel. And i started sanding down one of them.
Also i made a little bag of pin-badges last night while watching some xfiles after i did some work on my car.
So i've been pretty busy and getting super excited with all the little things going on with this project!! This Riso Gocco machine will be ace i think and add a nice finish to the figures! :oD

had a brilliant weekend!!! its been so good!
friday afternoon i headed to subway and got my lunch, footlong italian BMT toasted! KAPOW! awesome sandwich! spoke about website stuff with matto then headed up to glynns for the afternoon. Drunk copious cups of tea, got made fun of by his mom, roon came round, then we headed to mine and me, glynn, keg and anna watched Saw III. Was a good night!! i was well tired though so thankfully it was fairly early (midnight) so i wouldnt be too zombified for the weekend
Saturday i got a bit of a lie in then went to nottingham to pick up my comics with Rozzy. I was really surprised she came into Travelling Man with me haha and she even checked out some of the comics while i was paying for my pile o picture books. We wandered around notts all afternoon and drank fresh banana milkshake and aero mint milkshakes from a really cool little milkshake shop. Gonna go there again next time im in nottingham!!
We nipped back to roz's to pick some stuff up then nipped home to see my mum and have a cuppa.
Went back to the flat where I cooked some Bacon sammiches YUM! Bacon sarnies while watching The Forgotten. good stuff! Then in the evening me, roz, anna, nat, rob and jon hung out in the flat for abit before going to the bar cus keg was djing. It was ace! the girls hung out in the kitchen while me, rob and jon hung out in the front room drinking and laughing at issues of Twisted Toyfare Theatre. What better way is there to spend a saturday night i ask you!?! So we head of to the bar and not 10 minutes of being there and im assaulted by some drunk 'hair dresser' who messed my hair up more than it was. It was funny though because she was so wasted and spent the night dancing like some pole dancer hahaha we may have done a few impressions of her and her mate. at one point while she was trying to wear the crouch out of some guy they both fell over onto their backs right in the middle of the floor! we're all laughing and next second i look again and kate is sitting on top of both of them waving her arms in the air hahaha.
Kate, Rich (roz's older bro) and Alistair (another one of her brothers) had turned up from ramp night at the snowdome. it was so funny watching them giving Muz a couple of wedges..i've not seen the wedgie actually being lifted a foot off the ground before!! on one muz was actually like Superman with what looked like a foot of his pants stretched in the air! haha :P
Sunday was nice and lazy. Snoozing, more bacon sammichs and watching The Others. We went into town with anna to pick up some flip flops where i spotted a nice pair of bench shorts i want (black camo, nice!). then more lounging figureing out which bit of seaside me and roz are gonna go camping too. Some KFC for dinner then we all went off to the pub to play cards.
Whole weekend flippin ruled! the only way your gonna get this grin of my face is with a jackhammer! haha
Gonna try to find them shorts cheap on the interweb!

im back from 5 days bmxing in dusseldorf. got back last night. im so tired!!!
I took loads of photos, some riding some touristy. im gonna sort them all out and write a little post about the trip soon :o)
till then here is an amazing bmx section which had the most chanted chorus on the whole trip. blasting down the streets with at least 3 of us singing "Everyday im hustling!" made me smile even when i was shattered!

in true bmx trip fashion we still dont know the whole plan on the holiday! haha. Me and scott headed up to Jordans to drop our bikes off. We get there and Brendan isnt in so we dont really know all the plans. We have to go round at 10:30am tomorrow before the van leaves with scott in it (he ended up with no ticket) to get the low down.
Im pretty excited though!! and found out that niki is going with us which will rule! Brendan convinced him so basically there will be some even crazier riding going on out there.
Good stuff, seat of the pants as it should be!

So, I was riding my bmx on sunday. Fun times for a couple of hours, only thing i'd hurt was my knee hitting it on my bars twice cus i didnt have my pads on. No biggy.
La la la airing the quarter all day, air it again and for some god forsaken reason i freeze/contemplate bailing for a second mid-air. Too late, i come back down back wheel making contact with the transition before my front which then proceeds to flip me off the back straight into the ramp. boom, 7 staples thank you very much. It didnt knock me out or anything but i did see the white bloom of pain for an instant. Then blood coming from the inch an a bit cut in the back of my head. nice :oP
First time i've ever had staples, and its a weird sensation i can tell you. Wouldnt have been so bad if i didnt have to wait around for 4 friggin hours in A.E. with my head bleeding the whole time. After 3 hours and people without blood readily apparent on their persons get seen before you and you've been waiting hours longer tends to get you a bit pee'd off.
Gotta check up where my Private healthcare hospitals are in the future. Then i'll be back for dinner, not early morning.
Its going to be fun in the airports next week with me setting the metal detectors of with my head! haha

I rode the new skatepark at shobnall for 3 hours tonight! 3 freaking hours and i love it there!!! its so good, everythings been built properly and all the transitions are so nice!
I can now (for some unknown reason as im not doing anything different) air the big quarter everytime and it feels brilliant! Im getting closer to shitty 360's over the flat hip, and i can ride the spine there. And i even had a little line going where i would air the big quarter opposite carve the mini then boost the spine into the curved bowl, blast round that then gap over the driveway. The park flows really nice!
Im going to learn so much stuff there!
